Hotel

Tru by Hilton Denver Downtown Convention Center, 801 15th St Denver CO 80202 US

Downtown hotel a few blocks from the Coors Field. Plan on a 20 minute walk. One block away from the 16th Street Mall which features shops and restaurants. Lots of homeless around the downtown area, but that is true of all big cities these days. Weekend nights were noisy with loud cars and shouting homeless people.

Breweries

WYNKOOP BREWING COMPANY - Beers, turkey club, Caesar salad with salmon. Flagship Beers: Rail Yard Ale Red Ale - American Amber / Red & LoDo IPA IPA - American

Prost Brewing Co. & Biergarten - Our favorite of the trip. Christine liked the pilsner, David liked the double IPA.

Dining

SliceWorks, 1433 17th Street, Suite 100 - Very good pizza by the slice after the ball game. Stopped on the way back to the hotel from the ballpark.

Poke Club, 1520 Stout Street - Across the street from the hotel. Large portion spicy combo poke bowl. (You had me at spicy)

Henry's Tavern, 500 16th Street, Suite 184B - Beers, sandwiches, burgers.

Avanti Food & Beverage,3200 N Pecos St - A food court with lots of options. A bit of a hike from Union Station. Eat lunch here then grab a beer at Prost.
